More weather ramblings: addendum

The important thing that I forgot to mention in the previous post is that the Weather Panel for Canberra is showing the week leading up to winter, whereas the London one is obviously leading up to summer.

Last Friday is supposed to have been England's hottest day in May since 1953!

Oh no, the heat! I think it *may* have hit 27 degrees! Let's called the Guinness Book of Records!

You might add that the weather for Canberra is part of the ongoing drought, and that as we've had only one day of rain since the 22nd of March, some "crap" London weather would be much appreciated :)

It rarely rains in London (as far as I can tell from the past 6 months), it's just always cold and grey.

Apparently Canberra actually has higher annual rainfall than London.

Jasmine, when you depict it that way, Canberra has never looked so good!
