Speedcubing, iPAQs and other random stuff
Around Christmas time, I always have a spike in the hits to my beginner cube solution. This year was by far a new record. :) Below is a graph of the hits for the month leading up to Christmas. A lot of people must have received cubes for Christmas!
Ha, I was one of them. I wanted to be able to solve the cube...something I have never known how to do since I had one back in the early 80's until now. I can now do it thanks to you. Thanks for the great site!
I was one of those hits, too. A coworker got a cube for Christmas and had it on his desk. He had solved it (using a different beginner method) and I was determined to finally beat the puzzle that had vexed me since the 4th grade!I'm glad I found your site. Your solution was great and very well-explained.Thanks, Jasmine!
i was one of those hits as well, i got one for Christmas, i have every step complete and have memorized most but the last step for the LL working the last three edge pieces im having trouble. Its in the second stage view.
Yup, count me in there, too! I learned how to solve it completely in 4 days, after only 2 hours max a night with this tutorial. I've sent it to numerous friends, and helped at least 2 master the cube, and likely more once the rest spend time at it. There are other tutorials friends have showed me that after several months, they still cannot solve it entirely without peeking, and I've looked, and they are very complicated. Jasmine, you've done an amazing job putting this together. I call it the holy grail! Haha. Thanks for helping me finally solve this thing! It's amazing. I'm addicted now. I can solve it in just over a minute, a 52 second best time, and with my new DIY cube with lubrication, I hope to get a sub-minute average...
If you give what can be taken, you are not really giving. Take what you are given, not what you want to be given. Give what cannot be taken. ~
