Lemmings
Peter sent me a link to Lemmings online. I know many people got really obsessed by this game (Peter included), but I never did. I think I was too distracted by Tetris, Minesweeper, Lode Runner and Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?

I spent way way too much time playing Lemmings. I also played Lode Runner and when I was a bit younger, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego.
However, my classic has got to be Karateka, which was the first game I ever bought for my PC (on 5.25 inch disks) after playing it at school on Apple IIE computers at lunch time.
There was definitely no Gears of War back then.
