I'm totally on a roll at the moment. Yesterday I got a new best single time which was over a second faster than my previous best. Then today I got a new best average which is almost a second off my previous best average!! Here are the details...

A new world record for the 3x3x3 single solve was set on 5 May by Yu Nakajima of Japan. The competition was the Kashiwa Open 2008, and the record-breaking time was 8.72 seconds!
Yu also set a new world record for the fastest 3x3x3 average: 11.28 seconds. Amazing!

A new world record for the 3x3x3 single solve was set today by Edouard Chambon of France. The competition was the Murcia Open 2008, and the record-breaking time was 9.18 seconds!
Edouard also set a new world record for the fastest 3x3x3 average: 11.48 seconds. Amazing!
